Master’s Level Intern

Kartavin Reed-Youngblood is a Master’s Level Intern studying Marriage & Family Therapy at Trevecca Nazarene University. He earned a Bachelor’s Degree from Tennessee State University in Criminal Justice, and eventually pursued a career in mental health.  Kartavin is a member of the American Counseling Association and the American Association for Marriage and Family Therapy.
Kartavin has a genuine appreciation for those who invest in their healing and growth through therapy.   He is committed to showing up for those who he connects with, in a way that he would want others to show up for himself.  He is also committed to ensuring a safe atmosphere, that encourages growth and overcoming challenges.   Kartavin embraces a collaborative approach with his clients, integrating techniques such as mindfulness, emotionally focused, and solution focused into care, adapting to each individual client’s needs.
