What is Neurofeedback?

Neurofeedback is an advanced intervention that trains the brain to operate at its highest potential and has been shown to be beneficial for all ages. Often, within approximately 20 sessions, clients notice enhanced brain functioning and symptom reduction.

During a session, sensors are attached to specific areas of the scalp to measure brain wave activity and exercise neural pathways. The information is displayed on a computer screen, providing real-time information about brain activity patterns, allowing both viewing and monitoring of neurological activity. The client simply watches a program on a monitor and receives audio and visual feedback that stimulates the brain. Before starting , a therapist will conduct a thorough assessment to discuss symptoms. The therapist will then create a training protocol outlining which areas of the brain to train.
